How tuition works
No surprises: here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find our figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the level and on how many classes a week a student takes. Pre-Ballet meets for a shorter class, and the upper levels meet longer and more often. Our figures are on the registration page, and we are glad to talk them through by phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the school's file for your student, the school's insurance and your place in the parent portal. It is due when you register for the first session.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly, by autopay through the parent portal, or by the session if you would rather pay once. The summer program is billed by the week.
Siblings
A second student from the same family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register, and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same level, or the one just below it, within the same session. Message the school and we will find a time.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Costumes for the May recital are ordered in the winter and billed before the show, one for each class a student takes. The recital has a production charge for each student, and guests need tickets. Leotards, tights and ballet slippers are bought by the family, and pointe shoes are fitted when a teacher says it is time. We do not enter competitions, so there are no entries or travel costs.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a student leaves, so the place can go to someone on the waitlist. A costume already ordered for the recital is still billed.
